Allison's Lemonade Stand

We're doing it again!! Allison's Lemonade Stand was so well recieved last year,  we are planning another one!

A lot has happened in a year and really shows the value of supporting arthritis research and awareness. Last summer, our daughter Allison was inspired by her maternal grandmother's arthritic journey and wanted to help her and other's with similar "oww-ies." This year, not only does Grandma Gloria's story continue to drive our desire to fundraise, but Allison's paternal Grandfather is awaiting a hip replacement to help with arthritis-related mobility issues as well. With arthritis on both sides of her family, Allison may possibly have her own struggles with it in the future.

There is no cure for arthritis – a painful and devastating disease. That is why we have registered for Move Your Way, in support of raising funds for the Arthritis Society.

Today, 6 million Canadians are affected by arthritis. These numbers are only going to increase. By 2035, 1 in 4 Canadians will have arthritis. That means you, your partner, your parent, or your sibling just may have arthritis. As the prevalence of arthritis increases, so does the demand for investment into cutting-edge research, proactive advocacy and innovative information and support that will deliver better health outcomes for people affected by arthritis.

Allison, now four-years-old, is pleased to invite you to join us for her 2nd Annual Allison's Lemonade Stand to support the Arthritis Society. Weather permitting, Allison will be selling lemonade and homebaked cookies from her stand on Saturday, July 10th. All proceeds will be donated to our Move Your Way event.

Please support the Arthritis Society and our team!

Thank you,

Allison, Deanne, & Jason Jeans
