Hello my sunshines! Hope you’re all doing well!
Once again, its that time of year, the annual “Walk for Arthritis”!
Last year was my first year participating and thanks to all your help, I managed to raise over $1,400. The money which goes to innovative research and treatments, helped the over 4.6 million Canadians living with arthritis in 2017.
But this year the numbers have jumped to 6 million, with them only increasing steadily. By 2035, 1 in 4 Canadians will have some form of arthritis, which makes funding for a cure, so important.
This year I have decided to participate in the run again, with the goal being, $2,500!
For me, this organization is very close to my heart, as in the beginning of 2017, just over a year ago, I was diagnosed with Rheumatism Disease, a severe chronic illness associated with arthritis. This autoimmune illness, also know as RA, causes severe body pain and inflammation of joints. Rheumatism effects not only many joints throughout the body but it greatly deteriorates a patient’s overall health, causing severe fatigue, a low immune system, constant pain and issues with major organs.
I’m hoping that this year I can surpass my goal and continue to help donate to the efforts of this organization. But I need your help. By clicking on the link, you can donate at least $5 to my cause. Which would be greatly appreciated.
Lots of Love, and thank you for listening,
