In 2017 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, it was a relief to know that at this point I could finally be on a path to hopefully feeling more like myself again. I'm far from the only one who has any form of Arthritis as it affects 1 in 5 Canadians and in Manitoba that number is even higher at 1 in 4. Arthritis is currently Canada's most prevalent chronic health condition, for which there is no cure. There are over 100 different types of arthritis and it's a disease that affects everyone.
There is no cure for arthritis – a painful and devastating disease - that is why I am participating in the Walk for Arthritis.
