We are doing the Walk for Arthritis in Windsor this year on Sunday, June 2, and are raising money for it!
Some of you know that our sweet daughter, Everlee has Juvenile Arthritis (JIA) and it has been a struggle and quite horrible at times. Everlee went way too long without a diagnosis and was such a strong and brave girl to go through what she had to go through - regular physiotherapy appointments, routine blood tests and eye exams, x-rays, MRIs, medications, injections, etc. Not enough people understand what it takes to have to live everyday with this disease. There is no cure for this painful and devastating disease. That is why we’re walking.
To look at Everlee now, you would never know that she has only been walking for about a year. She not only walks, but jumps and runs - she can’t and won’t be stopped! She has worked so hard and is doing amazing. She is our JIA warrior!
Please consider a donation to the Canadian Arthritis Society to help change the future for those suffering from arthritis. Money raised will support cutting-edge research, patient advocacy, and support that helps to improve arthritis patient’s quality of life.
This year the Walk for Arthritis is celebrating its 10th year - help make this the best year ever by joining the Walk for Arthritis community and supporting this important cause!
