Thanks to your support, I raised over $11,500, surpassing my $10,000 goal, through the Walk for Arthritis last year. I am truly touched by your generosity - thank you!
As you know, arthritis is very personal to me and to our family. My husband Dan has undergone replacement surgery for both shoulders because of severe arthritis so we know first-hand what it means to live with the "pain" of this devastating chronic disease. Over 6 million Canadians of all ages and all walks of life live with this devastating disease. By 2040, 1 in 4 Canadians will have arthritis.
That is why we are so committed to creating a future without arthritis. The Society has invested more than $200 million in projects that have led to breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with arthritis. But there is much more to be done and YOU can help!
This year, I am asking you to join our family on June 2nd and to walk in support of Dan and the millions of other Canadian with arthritis.
Please join our team or support our fundraising efforts.
Together, let's raise $10,000 towards a cure.
