There is no cure for arthritis – a painful and devastating disease - that is why I am participating in the Walk for Arthritis.
This year will the 3rd walk that I particpate in as I walked in Kelowna BC in 2016 & 2017. I walk because like many others I have Arthritis and know the devastating affect that it can have on people. I have Osteoarthritis in both my knees and was on the waiting list for three years to get my left knee done and I finally got the surgery on May 31, 2018, so I didn’t walk last year. I also have inflammatory arthritis through my body that affects my other joints so know how hard it is to live day by day with this disease . I have went through several flares ups that have made walking difficult at the best of times.
I may have Arthritis but it doesn’t have me, and I will continue to live life as best I can! I will continue to join these walks to support the Arthritis Society for as long as I can because one day a cure will be found.
Thank you to my husband, daughter and grandchildren for walking with me each your! Your love and support are truly appreciated. Also thank you to those that donate to help me fundraise for the Arthritis Society
Thank you to the Arthritis Society for hosting event!
