Purchasing from the Arthritis Society Gift Catalogue

Q. Where does my money go?

A. Each donation you make to the Arthritis Society Gift Catalogue supports the item you are purchasing. In the unlikely event that donations exceed the activity’s requirements, the Arthritis Society will redirect funds to similar programs or to where they are needed the most, using its best efforts to adhere as closely as possible to the original intent of the gift.

Q. Can I pay by cheque?

A. No, at this time we are only able to receive catalogue purchases online and over the phone by credit card.

Q. Is my gift catalogue purchase tax deductible, will I receive a tax receipt?

A. When you purchase a gift from our catalogue you are donating to the Arthritis Society which makes your purchase eligible for a tax receipt. An electronic receipt will be emailed to you.

Q. What is a matched gift?

A. With a matched gift your donation will be matched by a corporate or organizational partner. This increases the impact that your donation has on people living with arthritis.

Q. How secure is my information?

A. All online transactions to the Arthritis Society are processed on a secure server. Information entered on the transaction page is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) before transmission. If you are concerned about placing your order online we can process your gift order by phone, call use toll free at 1.800.321.1433 Monday to Friday from 9-5.

Q. Can I personalize the card?

A. Yes! You can personalize your e-card or printable pdf card with a personal message for your gift recipient.

Q. Can I schedule when my e-card is sent?

A. No, at this time we are not able to schedule when your e-card is sent, it will be deployed at the time of purchase.

Q. My e-card recipient didn't get the card

A. Your gift recipients may have different spam filtering rules set up within their email account. Please ask your recipient(s) to check their spam and junk folders for their card. If they are still unable to find the card, please contact Donor Services at 1.800.321.1433 or email donorservices@arthritis.ca.

Q. What if I don't want a card?

A. If you don’t want to send an e-card or receive a printable card with your order, then select the “no card” option when you add the item to your cart.

My Tax Receipt

Q. What do I do if I didn't receive my tax receipt?

A. There may be different spam filtering rules on your email account. Check your spam and junk folders for your tax receipt. If you cannot find it, please call us at 1.800.321.1433 or email donorservices@arthritis.ca for assistance.

Q. I lost my tax receipt, how do I get a new one?

A. If you still have the confirmation email you were sent after your purchase, you can re-print your tax receipt from there. If you have deleted the email please contact Donor Services at 1.800.321.1433 or email donorservices@arthritis.ca.
